6:30 pm - 10:00 pm at The Buckhead Theatre
The Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) is excited to host this year's True Blue Do on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at The Buckhead Theatre located at 3110 Roswell Road, Atlanta. The event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person. Proceeds benefit CVI.
A casual evening featuring live music, cocktails, food, silent auction and more, the True Blue Do is a fun event whose proceeds give hope to thousands of Georgians with vision loss and their families. With nearly 400 attendees each year, it's a true party with a purpose.
Hosted by 11Alive's co-anchor, DeMarco Morgan, this year's event will feature two very special musical guests: Five-time Grammy award winner Victor Wooten, legendary bassist, solo artist and member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones; and Luke Putney, Victor’s mentee and one of CVI’s STARS graduates who is himself an accomplished bass player, composer and teen philanthropist. In addition to the phenomenal musical entertainment, this year's True Blue Do will include an expanded silent auction, a live auction, everyone's favorite "Flip-for-a-Trip" raffle, great food, cocktails and much more!
